Memories of My Fave Papers...soon to be gone! Stampin' Up!

                                                    Stampin' Up! Australia
Would you believe I made a video of this darling card, then had to delete it because the soundtrack was totally out of sync! Gaaaa! Never mind, I am still giving you the photo inspiration and I will now proceed to tell you what went into the construction process LOL!

Start with your gorgeous Watercolour Designer Series Paper, cut a Daffodil Delight Card base, then cut a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe 1/4" smaller, then cut a DSP piece 1/4" smaller again. Do not adhere, because we are adding a layer of Daffodil Delight ribbon (I attached it to the back of the DSP piece using good ol' Scotch tape).
Punch out a piece of DD with the petite petals punch, then stamp 2 flowers on whisper white, one in DD and one in CC (ie Crisp Cantaloupe) then punch them out as well. For the Sentiment, I used Loving Thoughts, then cut it out using the Apothecary Accents die, and sponged some more CC around the edge for definition.
I popped on some candy dots from the Brights Pack, then added an inside layer which looks just like the envelope, in that I stamped a Petite Petal in Daffodil Delight, then in Crisp Cantaloupe, then, without re-inking I stamped again (stamped off) to form the 3rd flower.
Hope you like the finished card. Leave a comment, and share the love :)
Now I'm going back to my movie editor and finding out how to fix the sync problem.   !!!!

Friendship Preserves Jar labels with matching Card - Stampin' Up! -

This is the perfect gift for a friend who is feeling unwell. The big jar will hold some home-made chicken soup. I bought the jars at the Reject shop for a few dollars each. Enjoy the Stampin' Up! - video tutorial!

Supplies list for Glitter Border Cards- Stampin' Up!

How to create perfect glitter borders...this is so easy! Simply place 2 rows of sticky strip down each side of the card, and spoon over Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Brush off the excess with your fingers or a paintbrush and voila! perfect results in record time! I have made 2 versions of this card:
SUPPLIES:
*A4 - Stampin' Up! Cardstock: Pink Pirouette cut in half and folded.
*Ink: Primrose Petals
*Sponge Dauber
*Stamp Set: Two By Two
*Framelits- Labels Collection
*Rhinestones (small)
*Dimensionals
*Pink organza ribbon attached with a Glue Dot
*Sticky Strip
*Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

For the second version I stamped the image in Basic Grey Ink and mounted it onto Basic Grey card, using the 2nd largest framelit. I hand coloured the image with Basic Grey and Pretty in Pink markers and a Blender Pen.
Use a light hand so you don't rub through the cardstock. I coloured the image with the light source coming from the right hand side, and shaded under the rim of the boat to give a 3D effect. I sponged around the edge of the image with Primrose Petals and added some Dazzling Details around the edge with a paintbrush.

Today's Class Challenge - Stampin' Up!- Stampin' Up! Australia

Today's challenge was to design a card using the - Stampin' Up! blossom builder punch (using the 'wing' as petals) and the 3/4" circle punch, as well as the apothecary framelits die and scalloped border to create a daisy card.

Alison, Katrina, Patricia and Katrena were able to choose their own colour combos and everyone made a card uniquely their own.

If you would like to join our Tuesday afternoon  - Stampin' Up! class and be a part of the fun, just send me an email or call me on 0414 393 035, and I'll reserve your place for you.

Apothecary Framelits Collection - Stampin' Up!

Picture
I used Stampin Write Markers and a Blender Pen to hand colour this card. The 3D effect is achieved by shading all around the image, including the banner, with Sahara Sand, which is one of the lightest Stampin Write Markers.
I first stamped the image onto Stampin' Up! whisper white card stock using early espresso ink, then picked up the colour with my blending pen directly from the markers (Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive). I finished off by shading in Sahara Sand, then ran it through the Big Shot using the Labels Collection Framelits die.
Next I cut a larger piece of Old Olive Card stock and 2 larger pieces of Rich Razzleberry Card stock (one for the card back, which I scored using my scoring tool near the top of the back piece to make a "hinge" so the card would open) using the Big Shot. I used dimensionals to pop up the focal image and added some pearls.
