It that time of year again, when it’s time to start getting ready for the Christmas Craft Fair.
These laminated bookmarks are among my best sellers and cost just pennies to make. I also have some laminated craft sheets that are super easy to make. enjoy!
This watercolour painting was made using a small ceramic dish as a stamp to create the 3 circle shapes.
I show you how to create easy dimension in each bauble by lifting out the colour using a simple tissue. Gently “kissing” each circle together creates beautiful bleeds.
No fail Watercolor technique, perfect for beginners. These trees were a breeze to paint ( I painted the whole 3 at once! ,) if you haven’t tried the Chux magic Eraser on your Watercolor yet, you’ll be amazed to see how easy it is to fix mistakes. I used my Daniel Smith paints for this, but budget watercolour paints would work too.
I am stocking up on goodies to sell at this year’s Christmas Craft Fair. So far I have made masses of Christmas cards, and I think these cute herb bookmarks will be top sellers.
I have a raided my herb garden for a sweet smelling herb bouquet, and I’ll show you how to make a posy of fresh herbs.
The bookmarks can also be used as gift tags. The tassels came from Amazon , in a pack of 200!
Pre-Embossed paper gives a cool effect to your cards when smooshed into distress oxide inks. The ink skips over parts of the card stock, leaving a really textured pattern. I have paired these cards with Tim Holtz quote chips, which have been coloured using the same inks. I purchased my papers from Stampinup a while ago, and several craft companies sell pre-embosssed paper, or you could emboss your own using any embossing folder with a repetitive pattern. The card stock is not Watercolor paper, so I show you how to control the application of water so your paper doesn’t get too wet.
This is a Fabulous resource book for creating collages. It has everything you need to make fabulous art.

After studying printmaking in the Regional Gallery, and learning how to successfully print monotypes, Linocuts, lithographs and Collagraphs, I was excited to see what new techniques I could experiment with using my gel press.
I discovered I LOVE printing, having been a stamper for so long.
Smooth white cardstock from Stampin Up and distress oxide inks from Ranger made the perfect marriage of creamy sharp edged prints using just 2 colours and several stencils per A4 sheet.
It is possible to produce beautiful prints every time using this method. Each A4 sheet I printed yielded 4 card fronts, which I then adhered to card bases and now have cards for days!
