Step by step art journalling: Printing Feathers on Gelli Press. I picked up a Speedball Gell Press Kit at Spotlight a couple of weeks ago. It has a 5" x 5" plate. I already use the 8" x 11" plate by Ranger, and wanted to try the smaller format , since I love my big plate so much!
You can not only make prints by layering the stencils onto your plate, but you can also print right onto the feathers!
Have you tried using shimmer sprays with stencilling? It's a fantastic way to make a background with the shine and sparkle already embedded into your page. You just need to be a bit patient with the drying time....LOL
I adore these stickers. If you haven't discovered the sticker books from American Crafts they are the best value around! (I get mine from Spotlight in Australia) .
I have another giveaway for the months of July/August, and I am giving away a Moleskine planner sized Cashiers journal, along with 12 sheets of planner stickers from Heidi Swapp.
To enter, you simply need to watch the video on Youtube, Subscribe, Click on the BELL so you don't miss anything, and leave some comments on any of my videos. For every comment you will receive another entry in the draw. BEST OF LUCK!
Happy weekend,

Gelatos are currently on special at Spotlight Stores, so I decided to give them a try! Here is a first look and I show you how I use these art mediums in my Dylusions Journal Swatch Book.
I am interested to know how you store your Gelatos, so let me know in the comments how you store your art supplies.
have a wonderful day,

Art and craft haul video, craft haul vid, gelato swatches, gelato unboxing and review, using gelatos swatches and review, aussie stampers,
Try this incredible technique with your Glimmer Paper. It will give you unique results every time! I show you step by step how to create 4 different cards.
You may have noticed the new white mat I have been using in some of my video tutorials. I am really loving it. It is made of silicone, and takes wet media very well. It's also great for smooshing ink directly onto the plate for pickup, and lets you see very clearly what colour inks you are working with.
I found this video explain gin the features of the mat, and thought you might like to see the many ways you can use it.
I am a lefty, so I use the mat with the ink palettes on the right hand side.
You have to try this incredible new technique! Painting on Yupo paper with Spray paint!
I am addicted to this (full confession, I can't stop making art!)
See how the paint creates movement on the Yupo paper. The technique is similar to marbling, but the slipperiness of the paper and oil-based spray paint creates beautiful patterns and swirls.
I added some coaster board die-cut shapes using my Stampin' Up! Framelits, over black card stock to create a dropped shadow effect.
Here it sits on my desk in my 6' x 6' Hand Book Spiral bound art journal.
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you would like to see more technique videos like these. Vicki x
See how I created this mixed media collage on an artist panel, using Cadence rice paper and stencils, plus Tim Holtz paper dolls. I used Stampin' Up! markers and inks to finish the piece.
Happy weekend! Vicki x
