Gold Embossed Card and Envelope. Stampin Up.

I love using this simple technique to create a dramatic layering effect on my cards. I also show how easy it is to line an envelope. If you don't have the envelope liner diecuts you can trace the shape of the flap and cut using scissors.

Too different cards made at the same time means you can save time and effort when you are making multiple cards. I can never have too many thank you cards, as I am always sending these out to my friends.

Glamorous Healing Hugs Card. Stampin' Up!

This get well card uses the new distINKtive stamps from Stampin' Up!

Here you can see how I created dimension by only adhering part of each flower and leaf, then curling up the edges with my fingers. 

The silver embossing matches the shimmer on the layering piece. This is brushed silver, which is a retired card stock, but we managed to re-create this effect in class using Smokey Slate card stock with a border of wink of stella around the outside.

  

The inside looks really pretty with the silver embossing and stamped background to match the front.

Enjoy Life Dew Drop Card. Quick and Easy. Stampin' Up! Card

This card using the Enjoy Life stamp set is quick and easy to put together.
It's a single layer card, and it went together in a flash! I love using punches, and the wink of stella pen and dew drop clear shapes  add that extra zing.
